Cup holder size is determined by individual manufactures and is not a standard unit of measurement. These cups are 2.5"-3" wide at the base. If you think you have a cup holder on the smaller size, email me your cup holder diameter measurement to torisolis@bluenosetrading.com, and I can check to see if I have a good fit. Larger capacity cups tend to have a wider base (not exceeding 3").

Size, shape and glaze patterns vary slightly from piece to piece. I make these with my hands, and do not seek mechanical perfection; organic irregularities such as rims that are not perfectly round, or slight differences in exact diameter and height between pieces are to be expected. I find these minor differences make my work unique, and show the humanity in the craft.

Ceramic will warm up when it has a hot liquid inside of it. If the drink is too hot to drink, this cup may be too hot to hold with bare skin. Any ceramic container without a handle is NOT for use with beverages hotter than 120°F. If you enjoy drinking hot liquids, please purchase a mug with a handle. Be safe out there.

Cleaning:
Water bottle brushes are a great way to get into this cup if it needs a good scrub. For a hardcore deep-clean: soak the entire cup in soapy hot water for an hour. Scrub with a water bottle brush, rinse thoroughly and sanitize in dishwasher.
